Frequently Asked Questions.

01Do you play the same teams in a weekend?
Yes, you will play the same team for one game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday. This structure will be similar to a college conference weekend. Each team will have to utilize its pitching staff.
02Will USSSA pitching rules apply?
Yes, all rules for regular play will still apply.
03Why should my team be in the conference?
Competitive games against comparable competition. Develop complete pitching staffs through competition. Prepare players for high school schedules.
04Will there be a bracket each weekend?
No, we will not have any brackets on conference weekends.
05Will teams be off from playing on Sundays?
Yes, families will have Sundays free to spend together instead of being at the ballpark every weekend.
06Will there be a champion?
Yes, champions and runners-up will be awarded after the completion of the conference schedule. Conference tournament will be June 11–13, 2027.

New USSSA Rules for 2027

Rule 3.00 – Individual Player & Team Eligibility

Starting 8/12/2026

3.01.D In all ages there is a limit of 3 Grade Based Exception players per team. This rule does not apply to individual events.

3.01.C Home Schooled players are not eligible to use a grade exception unless the Home School, Online School, Charter School, etc. has a physical location where students attend classes.

Rule 02

14U Bat Standard

Starting 1/1/2026

In 14U, -3 (BBCOR) is the National Standard.

Please note that all players must use a -3 (BBCOR) or wood bat unless the state the event is participating in has adopted the -5 exception. The only exception to this is if a state has opted into allowing -5 events.
